Sarah Kellen (also known as Sarah Vickers and Sarah Kensington) is an American woman known for her role as one of the longtime personal assistants of financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She has been described in court testimony and media reports as a key facilitator within Epstein’s network, though she has not been criminally charged. Kellen has also claimed she was herself a victim of Epstein’s abuse.
Early life
Little is publicly documented about Kellen’s early life. Prior to working for Epstein, she pursued a career in fashion and modeling.
Role with Jeffrey Epstein
Kellen began working for Epstein in the early 2000s. Multiple witnesses during Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial testified that she:
- scheduled "massages" that were in fact sexual encounters with underage girls,
- photographed victims before encounters,
- arranged Epstein’s flights and travel itineraries,
- escorted victims to Epstein’s room.
A U.S. District Judge later described her as "a knowing participant in the criminal conspiracy" and "criminally responsible."
Non-prosecution agreement
In 2007, as part of Epstein’s controversial non-prosecution agreement, Kellen was listed among associates who were given immunity from prosecution.
Civil lawsuits
Kellen was named in multiple civil suits against Epstein’s estate. Plaintiffs alleged she knowingly scheduled minors for sexual abuse and facilitated their exploitation.
Victim claims
Despite being identified as an enabler, Kellen has claimed she was also a victim. Through her attorneys, she stated that Epstein "raped and abused her weekly" and that she participated in the Epstein Victims’ Compensation Fund after his death.
Personal life
Kellen has largely withdrawn from public view. She married former NASCAR driver Brian Vickers in 2013. She has reportedly resided in both Miami and New York City.
